Small dark purple spots are formed on the leaves, which are enlarged to form nearly round or elliptic spots with purplish-red brown edges and a grayish-white center with slightly thin whorls. The whole spots are snake eyes, and no small black grains are formed on the spots.

Prevention and Treatment

Remove diseased and old leaves in time. At the beginning of the disease, 70% Chlorothalonil wettable powder 500-700 times liquid, ten days after the spray again.

Powdery Mildew

Symptoms

Powdery mildew mainly affects leaves, but also flowers, fruits, fruit stems, and petioles. Leaf-blade rolled up into a spoon shape. The buds and petals are purplish red, unable to blossom or open completely, and the fruit is not swollen and slender; Young fruits tarnish and harden. Strawberries lose their commercial value when they are damaged near maturity.

Prevention and Treatment

In the center of the disease and its surrounding, focus on spraying bubomet 0.3 degree stone sulfur mixture. After harvesting, the whole garden leaves were cut and sprayed with 70% methyl top in 1000 times liquid or 50% Bacteriotic 800 times liquid and 30% Heflin 5000 times liquid.

Mould

Symptoms

Gray mold is the main disease after flowering, in flowers, petals, fruits, leaves can come on. In the expansion period of fruit, brown spots, and gradually expand, dense botrytis cinerea fruit softening, corruption, seriously affect the yield.

Prevention and Treatment

In the bud to the flowering stage, with 25% carbendazim wettable powder 300 times liquid, 50% grammy in wettable powder 800 times liquid, 50% Britain 500 to 700 times liquid spray.

Root rot

Symptoms

From the lower leaf, the leaf margin becomes reddish-brown, gradually wilting upward, and eventually dies. The pillars begin to turn dark brown and putrefy in the middle, and the central column of the root is red.

Prevention and Treatment

Strawberry transplanting with 40% asparagus green powder 600 times liquid, poured in the furrow surface, and then covered with soil, leveling transplanting, to effectively kill bacteria in the soil, reduce the field source base, reduce the chance of infection.

Verticillium Wilt

Symptoms

Verticillium wilt is a soil disease, the main symptoms are malformation of young leaves, leaves turning yellow, leaf surface is very rough. Then the leaf margin turns brown and wilts inward until it dies.

Prevention and Treatment

Strict introduction of disease-free plants; Shorten the renewal period; Soil disinfection was carried out by irrigation with 13.5 liters to 20 liters of chloric acid or solar covered film; Those already ill must be pulled out and burned.

Aphids, Whiteflies, Mites

Symptoms

Aphid, whitefly, and mite are common pests of strawberries, both in the open field and protected fields. The more good varieties, delicious fruit, more susceptible to aphids, yellow or yellowish-green leaves also recruit aphids.

Prevention and Treatment

1. Reduce the number of overwintering insect eggs, completely clear the garden at the end of autumn, eliminate weeds, timely remove sick old leaves.

2. Set up a yellow board, the board coated with oil to kill aphid, whitefly, or in the air outlet insect-prevention net barrier, or hanging the silver-gray film to drive aphids.

3. Release of Aphids to effectively control whitefly.

4. It can be fumigated with fumigants such as fumigating agents such as fumigating lice and dichlorvos.

5. Drug spray: aphid can be 50% aphid mist or 50% anti-aphid wettable powder 2000 times liquid spray 1-2 times, 1.8% sword emulsion 1000 times liquid spray control, 10% imidacloprid wettable powder 1500-2000 times liquid, 50% marathon emulsion 1500 times liquid; Whitefly can be 25% pidiazol wettable powder 2500 times liquid, 2.5% cyhalothrin emulsion 3000-4000 times liquid; The mites can be sprayed with 5000-8000 times liquid fenvithrin with low residual toxicity and strong synergic effect twice, every 5 days, 20% formamidine emulsion 1000-1500 times liquid or methylamine-avermectin benzoate emulsion 2000-3000 times liquid spray control, about once in 10 days. Generally, the drug should be stopped two weeks before fruit picking.

Nematodes

Symptoms

Nematodes are invisible to the naked eye and require the help of a microscope. The insect is harmful to strawberries throughout their life, with the most obvious symptoms before and after flowering. Transmission depends on seedlings and soil. Strawberry nematodes are divided into bud nematodes and root nematodes.

Prevention and Treatment

  1. Remove diseased plants. The spread of nematodes is mainly by pulling out the dead mother plant and the stolon.

2. Soil disinfection, deep soil before planting, soil fumigation with bitter chloride, a greenhouse can use soil fumigation and closed shed for high-temperature stuffy steam disinfection.

3. Heat treatment disinfection, seedling immersion in 35℃ hot water for 10 minutes before planting, and then cooling before planting.

4. Crop rotation, avoid repeated cropping, reduce the harm of nematodes.
